SAX Review: Natural Eyes Make-up Kit

Good Morning Beauties!

I woke up at 3:30am, to be extra productive today; I must say I enjoy the early morning time period as its quite, relaxing and refreshing.

I sit here with my coffee on one side and oats on the other; excited to share with you all my new find!

Firstly I'd like to Thank the beautiful people at Sax Cosmetics for choosing me as one of their Winners for "Guest Blogger". It's an absolute honor to be able to Blog for a company that I have adored for a while now and use their products regardless.

If you have watched any of my past videos, you'd know by now that the appearance of the Sax Brow kit is quite frequent. Although I am proud to announce another kit to join my family of Sax!

For these past 2 weeks I have been wearing the SAX Natural Eyes Makeup kit. As I tend to wear a lot of neutral tones and browns on my eyes, I must say I thought I had enough brown palette makeup-kits.
Although this simple using kit, got me thinking otherwise.
For an affordable $14.95, the set contains 4 contrasting shadows, a long wearing liquid eyeliner, mascara and brush/sponge applicator.
What I liked most about the kit was that it was so user friendly and easy to understand. Each shadow comes with a number and on the left hand side of the palette, you are able to see each step simpley shown.

The colours are pigmented and sheer, which I adore. You can either create a darkened brown smokey look, or a completely natural one. You're go!

Below are a few images of me wearing the kit on various occasions. you can clearly tell my "tad obsession", as its only been 2 weeks of me owning it.

Comment below if you have ever tried this kit!
If not, it's a great "First time" natural palette to have :)

Until next time..

Keep Smiling

My first outfit, has to be one of the brightest and most comfortable rompers that I have ever worn. The one below is from Lalabaazar!
I love the fact that you can style it on its own, or simple layer it with a nice black blazer.
The jewelry I'm wearing is from Oh Gee Boutique.

My Second outfit is something more casually, yet chic!
I teamed up this beautiful purple high waisted shorts, with a simple black singlet.
I also wore this "red riding" hood inspired black cape/hoodie; it definitely gives it that something different :) My purple loose shorts are from Romwe and my Black cape, from SheInside, it definitely keeps you warm!

Third Outfit:
My Third outfit was "Jennifer Lopez" inspired. She tends to always look sexy, with the right amount of skin showing. I decided to wear my tight black pants from Forecast, with this beautiful suede top from Lalabazaar.
This was an outfit that I had never though I'd wear, although once on, I didn't want to take it off! haha
I also teamed up this outfit with the beautiful black cape from SheInside for those colder days.

My Fourth Outfit was one of my favorites!
Black, white and everything Stripped :)

My peplum black top was from SheInside and my Striped pants from Romwe.
They were bought separately, although went so well hand in hand :)
I also decided to add a beautiful turquoise coloured blazer from Choies, this added a statement colour to the outfit!

My Fifth Outfit  is a very chic, one piece jumpsuit from Oasap. Being short, every time I wear it, I do need to wear heels with it. Although the colour being  a plum shade, does stand out!

And lastly, my Sixth..lucky last outfit is one of the brightest, happiest pieces I own! haha
Wearing it for a few minutes, instantly allows you to smile :) And the lovely piece was also from SheInside!

The video featuring all these lovely pieces can be found HERE!
Hope you all enjoyed it!

Don't forget to comment below your favourite pieces :)

Adore you all..Until next time

Ariana Grande Hair & Makeup Tutorial! + Curling Iron GIVEAWAY!

Hello my Beauties!

I am so glad to be able to sit down and blog this post, as I'm excited to share this video with you guys!
I recently discovered the sweet, chic and beautiful Ariana Grande from a Nickelodeon TV Show and decided to film a Makeup & Hair tutorial on her!

She is such a sweet person (not that I've met her) but she definitely seems like one! haha
It seems as if you can sense her kindness through her actions and style.

So to replicate her look, I decided to create a purple smokey eye look, although exaggerated the look to a greater extent, Darkening and contouring more.

To get a smooth eyeshadow base and crease going on, I used this lovely palette and kit I had come across from Liz Jones, called the "Liz Jones Smokey Eye Kit". It comes in the loveliest and most chic case. This also makes it so easy to not only use, yet travel with!
The other thing I loved about this kit, was that it's colours were pigmented and were long lasting.

I topped the look off with the "Eye of Horus" liquid eyeliner, which is one of the smoothest ones I have used, a long with their mascara.

For my lashes, I used the Katy Perry Lashes from Eylure, to give my eyes that extra pop!

This must have been one of my favourite makeup looks, as I had trouble taking it off..haah!
Its a different look one can sport, yet it remains chic and adds color, which I love.

Ariana always seems to have perfect hair!
She definitely loves her half up/half down look..although who can blame her, it suits her quite well!

The good thing about this hair look, is that its SO SIMPLE TO CREATE! ..You may be surprised.

As shown in the video below, I used my Modiva 32mm Curling Iron to create this look, alongside my Sebastian Volupt Spray and Re-Shape Hairspray!  It literally took me a few minutes :)

And the good thing is...I'LL BE GIVING AWAY 6 CURLING IRONS IN TOTAL!!! With also a SPECIAL CODE!
Woooooo :)

March Favorites! | ♡

Hello Hello Loves!

I feel like it has been a while since I've blogged and I have missed sitting down and simply writing my thoughts, ideas and reviews!
Since I started my Masters at University, my life has been a tad more crazier, although as I always say..it's all worth it!

So, I decided to create a "March Favourites" video, since I absolutely love watching them myself!

Beginning with my first Favourite, it would have to be the lovely Creamy "Glam Lipstick in shade "Shine Cherry-01" from Scandal Cosmetics. It has such a creamy, soft texture, that I think it's well appropriate and suitable for even beginners.  Just adding a little of the lipstick onto a makeup look, can really vamp up the look!

Another favourite from Scandal Cosmetics, would definitely have to be their nail polishes, ESPECIALLY their "Scandal Nail Lacquer". I have been wearing the lavender one in Number 17, for a week now and only the edges have slightly chipped off..if even! I would recommend them for people on the hurry, looking for something that lasts a while : )

Other Favourites would have to be the Glam by Manicare lashes, that I have been using for the past years for my dance concerts. They go on so well and stay put, quiet firm! I use them for concerts that last up to 4-5 hours and they never peel off, fall off..etc (Thank God! )

I recently discovered the Michael Todd Organic Skin care line online and thought I'd review the brand. After using their products, my skin almost automatically cleared in a major form.
The cleaners work so well, as they aren't harsh, although they get the job done!

One of the most "fun" beauty products I have ever tried, would have to be the BYS Glitter pots, from Fashion Addict.
SO QUICK, EASY AND LOVELY TO USE. I used it in a rush (as I was running late to a concert) yet they went on so neatly and lasted for a week!

My last Beauty favorite and probably the one I have been using DAILY..Would have to be the Benefit "They're Real" Mascara.
The amount of compliments I receive on this product surprises me.  I rarely rate a product 10 out of 10..although for this one.. you guessed, I would give it a 20, out of 10 if I could. Yep that good.
It allows my lashes to look quite long, yet nowhere near clumpy. Give it a try if you can..Thank me later ;)

Moving onto Fashion Faves! ♡

When I saw these pieces on Romwe, I had to have it!
It takes a while for me to wear something I don't normally, although once I love it..It's hard for me to take off! These pants and short t-shirt went so well together. its comfortable, yet has style to it.
i decided to create a little "unique" aspect to the outfit and wear it with this lovely headpiece from Designer Duchess! It worked so well and gave it that something extra different, Which I love.
I would love to hear your thoughts on it..Comment below! : )

I also became a fan of this lovely beige dress from Sheinside. Absolutely perfect for Winter! With Boots and black stockings..its like you have a Gossip Girl wardrobe! ;)
The material is also quite thick, therefore perfect for the Winter time!

Accessory wise, I teamed up my first outfit with a lovely dainty bracelet from Brinkle and a chic white watch from OhGeeboutique. I must say this is a favorite combination of mine! White on White <3
I also added sparkly to the look with 2 beautiful rings from  Vancaro. Jeweled with diamonds  and the word "Love", who wouldn't fall in love with these two?!
They don't tarnish and sparkly no matter what..It's absolute Love!

Home Decor' ♡

If you know me, you'd know I'm obsessed with interior decorating and home care.
I added this lovely Makeup Box addition to my previously owned MakeupBox. Its funny what a HUGE difference a 4 drawer Makeupbox can make. All my makeup now sites organized between the whole compartment. What I love most about it, is its clear look. It allows everything to become easier to find. So chic, stylish, yet neat. Its a lovely addition to any room!

With that..I had to include some sort of candle in my Favourites video..haha
So this time I went with the most yummy smelling candle of all time. The Circa "Cafe Collection-Raisin toast" Candle. The scent so strong and delicious, it honestly allows the entire house smelling like a lovely breakfast!

Hope you enjoyed my Favourites for March 2013 :)

Comment below if you have ever tried any of these Favourites, I will love to hear your thoughts!

Love always ..Lilian x

Keep Smiling!
